We wish you a warm welcome to this year’s Norway Cup

Bækkelagets Sportsklub, the organizer of Norway Cup, is pleased to welcome happy football players from around the world to Oslo, Ekeberg and Norway Cup. This is an important venue for the joy of sports, friendship and understanding. 1.600 yellow dressed volunteers will receive everyone and we are very proud that so many of the clubs members perform such a brilliant job enabling our guests to enjoy week 31.

We are very grateful for the enthusiastic support we receive from the municipality of Oslo, the different municipal agencies. making this arrangement run as smoothly as possible. We depend on this support this year and in the years to come. Hopefully we will have new upgraded and rehabilitated grass fields in the future. A sustainable arrangement and a sustainable sport are depended on natural grass.

Norway Cup is the world’s largest football tournament for children and youths. To rival in fair play, good values and democratic principles transmits good and valuable signals to both the participants and their support teams. We work hard to keep the tournament sustainable and we know that the children and youths of today are more aware of sustainable projects. A sustainable development is a development that meets today’s needs without destroying the possibilities for future generations to satisfy their needs. Norway Cup and our sponsors are aware of the responsibility of continuously improving the tournament.

“No referees – no game”. This year I wish 500 referees welcome to fair play and the joy of sports. They perform a very important job and I know that you will treat them with respect.

The Ekeberg fields are the heart of the tournament. Here you will find the Secretariat, The Field hospital, the “Dining hall”, kiosk, fair-grounds, sponsor activities and the culture stage. Good entertainment and exciting activities for everyone. We receive very good feedbacks on the meals we serve. Every hot meal is “made from scratch” with fresh commodities. Bon appetite!

New this year is the Norway e-Cup. In cooperation with the Norwegian Football Association and our main sponsor, Elkjøp, will we be arranging a national online FIFA tournament, where play-offs and finales are played during the Norway Cup tournament. This is a new concept, valid only for our participating teams. Please find more information and results on our internet platforms.
